Minima Gold Awarded at Indonesia Good Design Selection 2010. Minima is a series of wood furniture consists of cabinet storage, console, and coffee table. It is finished in natural veneers, and made from engineered wood and artificial honeycomb structure.

Private Residence Visualization

The design is a very typical taste of Jakartanese. So called minimalism, this interior concept is just combining artificial wood -using laminated paper-, and all the types and colors were decided by costumer. It is interesting to see how designers is not taking a major role in interior-based project nowadays. They tend to rely a good renderings by visualizer, as well as leave the design decisions to their clients.

Jakarta based carpentry firm, needed a help from a visualizer to interpret client’s dream into realistic concepts. My role is to take advantage of CAD software, thus created a digital renderings used as proposals for their clients.

Residence 28

Collaboration with DE Hartanto, senior interior designer, for client lives in Residence 28 - Kedoya, Jakarta.

Basic modern and minimalism concept implies in this design, by combining geometric shapes with natural wood. This project covered living room, dining room, bedroom, kitchen, as well as family room. Exposed white bricks cover all the wall combined with pine wood planks for ceiling and floor.

Same materials for floor and ceiling gives a unique home ambient in every room. A harmonious combination, in a simplest way.

The project was completed in six months. Starts from rough idea, field survey, through fabrication.

Vinovo Mix-materials based design, combining several basic elements: Chromed pipe legs, as frame and main structure ; Frosted glides as adjuster and stabilizer ; Rattan seat, with washed colors ; Self-made fabrics, wrapped on a thin cushion ; High-tensile fabric, for backrest support. Vinovo, can be used as a lounge chair in interior spaces, not suitable for outdoor use.
